Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Make Heartbreaking Decision About Daughter Lilibet

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a heart-wrenching decision about their daughter Lilibet that has left their fans deeply emotional.

Meghan and Harry are no strangers to making headlines, but their most recent announcement has captivated their audience in a particularly emotional way.

The couple has shared details regarding their daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor’s christening.

However, it’s not just the event itself that has people talking, but the date they chose…

The timing of the christening’s announcement has caught the attention of royal watchers.

Lilibet, born in California on June 4, 2021, was baptized almost two years later in a private ceremony at the couple’s Montecito residence in March 2023.

But what makes this announcement stand out is the date Meghan and Harry chose to reveal the news.

The couple made the christening public on March 8, 2023, and while this may seem like an ordinary date to some, it carries profound meaning.

This isn’t the first time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen a significant date for a major life update.

Back in February 2021, they announced Meghan’s pregnancy with Lilibet on Valentine’s Day.

This mirrored a royal moment from the past.

On February 14, 1984, Princess Diana, Harry’s mother, shared the news of her pregnancy with Harry.

In his Netflix documentary, Harry admitted to being taken aback by this coincidence, saying: “I was shocked. We had no idea. It was just a coincidence, or maybe not a coincidence.”

Harry is no stranger to finding parallels between his life with Meghan and his late mother, Diana.

In his memoir ‘Spare,’ he revealed another striking connection to do with the beginning of their relationship.

“Eventually, we exchanged phone numbers, and mitigated the conversation over to text, going late into the night,” Harry wrote, adding that he was ‘texting like a teenager”‘ through the following day.

“It occurred to me how uncanny, how surreal, how bizarre, that this marathon conversation should have begun on July 1, 2016. My mother’s fifty-fifth birthday,” he added.

These meaningful moments seem to strengthen Harry and Meghan’s bond, intertwining their lives with Diana’s legacy.

Harry has often drawn comparisons between Meghan and his mother, Princess Diana.

However, according to a royal author, Harry was disappointed when his family did not share the same view.

Harry and Meghan began dating in 2016, and by 2017, she graced the cover of Vanity Fair with the headline ‘Wild About Harry,’ a moment that caused concern within Harry’s inner circle, including Prince William and Kate.

In Tom Bower’s book ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors,’ he writes (per the Mirror): “The Vanity Fair article increased the Cambridges’ suspicion of Meghan.

“By then, Harry had introduced Meghan to Diana’s sisters, Jane and Sarah, and her close friend, Julia Samuel. Harry believed they would see a resemblance between Meghan and Diana, as he felt they had faced similar challenges.

“He was disappointed. None agreed that his vulnerable mother and Meghan were alike. Worse still, they thought Meghan might not fit into the royal family.”

Bower also noted that Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, echoed this concern at the request of Prince William. Spencer, who had been married three times, advised Harry to slow down before marrying Meghan, advice that led to tension.

Harry later reflected on this moment, acknowledging how difficult it would be to establish Meghan’s place in the family.

As for Lilibet’s christening, the choice of date appears to have been a deliberate – and tragic – reference to the royal family.

March 8 was International Women’s Day, a significant day for such a momentous occasion.

However, some royal fans pointed out another important connection.

The date fell exactly six months after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, known to her family as Lilibet.

The Queen passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96, marking a profound moment of mourning for the royal family and the nation.

Announcing Lilibet’s christening on this day was seen as a poignant tribute to her late namesake.
